Flanders, ANP</div> <bR> <div> Maria Gilman Flanders came to PCP in August 2004. She holds a master's degree in nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Her undergraduate BSN was obtained at Salve Regina in 1984. Maria has several years in the nursing profession working in cardiology, oncology, gynecology and her favorite, obstetrics.</div> <div> Certified as an Adult Health NP through ANCC and as a Women's Health NP through NCC, Maria has a commitment to her patients by remaining current in research and updates in health care. This knowledge is used to guide patients in their healthcare decisions. Her goal this year is to seek certification as a menopause counselor. She has been a provider of services to patients at the New Visions Gynecology clinic in Newport along with her commitment to vaccine development research at URI.</div> <div> Maria has two teenage children, enjoys gardening, bike-riding, and spending time in nature.
